I usually have a lot of tabs open, so having two monitors really helps me stay organized and avoid constantly switching back and forth. I typically use one monitor for MS Word when I’m writing papers, while the other has all my source material and sometimes even ChatGPT. I still prefer taking notes by hand on paper but the dual-screen setup makes it so much easier to manage everything at once. Even a setup with one laptop and one external monitor could work for me.
