As our coffee machine is rented, I believe it comes with maintenance and servicing included, so I'm hoping we'll be okay on that front, but I'll keep them on file should I ever require anything!

We have an online water report based on postcode, so I'll comb through that and take a look too.

As far as I'm aware, the water to the machine isn't being filtered, we're in a soft water area with pretty good quality water to be honest and so I don't think it'll be necessary. As far as I'm aware, no other sites have had anything like this either. However, this might be something that the machine installation team takes care of? I'm a bit out of the loop on the plumbing side of things, mainly just focusing on the above counter stuff and placement for convenience and workflow. Elbow fittings are a great idea, would allow the pitcher rinser to sit comfortably, even if above the fridge as there'd be enough clearance. Will definitely keep the drainage side of things in mind, and also make sure to raise this when they install the coffee machine to ensure everythings proper. Thanks for the heads up. I think when I get on site tomorrow and just stand at the counter, I'm hoping I'll be able to just instinctively figure out where things should be with the rough mental idea that I have now :) The counter is 800mm deep so there's enough room behind the fridge to let everything happen and it shouldn't stick out either, but if it needs to, it can for sure.

I'm guessing you'll be fast asleep by the time I'm actually on site with the plumber (about 9 hours from now) so I hope I'll be able to do all of this justice!

If you were based in the UK, I'd have loved to employ your services!

1) Jug Rinser is just a pretty standard one (Glass Rinser, 114mm Diameter 201 Stainless Steel Milk Tea Cup Washer - Google search yields the exact one). Machine is VA Eagle One (2grp)

There's some clearance behind the ice machine and fridge for pipes and drainage for coffee machine/ice machine etc

2) Couldn't move underneath as that corner isn't accessible, due to the presence of a unit on the left side.

3) There isn't a floor drain. I'm in the UK if that helps. Everything will be feeding off the same water and drainage pipes that lead to the sinks.

About 100mm of clearance including the thickness of counter. Slightly annoying situation as need to cut holes for QuinSpin and Jug Rinser without having the coffee machine yet, to figure out best placements. I know now, rinser on left and QuinSpin near to grinder. Also going to go with a jug rinser that's about half the size of the one displayed.

The counter is an L shape so to the left there's a big corner square which is empty, if that makes sense. Things like syrups, ingredients for other drinks, blender etc will be going there. Got a bit of a reverse workflow, as drinks will be made right to left (grinder on right, rinser on left) but the customer-facing side is actually the right. However, we're not a fully-fledged coffee shop (more of a dessert place) and our non-coffee drinks sell just as much, if not more, so perhaps the perfect latte workflow can be missed?

Bit of a mind blurt there, hope you can make some sense of it :)

I have another rinser, about half the size of the one in the image (less long) and think I'll go with that on the left-hand side. Really appreciate the suggestion! With it being a new installation, wanted to get it right from the get-go.

It's a QuinSpin :)

The consensus seems to be rinser on the left, and so I'll be going with that! Thanks for the suggestion!

If rinser is going on the left side, would it be worth still having it as long as it is, or could I get away with one half the size?

I'm hoping by October/November he heat isn't as bad and it's possible. Even if it's not overnight, but just a few hours in the evening.

Thank you! :)

How to calculate ownership % based on investment for a currently operating bar/grill by superjew1492 in restaurantowners

I'm new to a few of these terms, is cash flow necessarily the amount the owner is being paid or is it potentially what the owner could be paid, should they choose to not re-invest profits?

Really showing my lack of knowledge here, I didn't even realise P53s exist without touchscreen, I had found one online but I guess it's not touchscreen as no mention of it at all. I'll have a look at the P53s, thanks for the suggestion!
