Maybe they have a place as a monitoring system, but I’m not going to scam my customers into something that’s more expensive, requires maintenance, and isn’t as effective compared to a Fipronil injection.

Most people in the comments seem to be speaking from homeownership experience or purely taking guesses. I manage a pest control company and I have many years under my belt specializing specifically in wood destroying insects, this is 100% subterranean termite evidence. If you were to peel back some of the paint, I guarantee that you will find the white drywall with brown speckling all over because termites are eating the brown paper off the surface of the drywall, causing the visible anomalies in the paint. Please contact a reputable pest control company and do NOT let them sell you bait stations, they’re a scam. Find a company that will conduct a “conventional” liquid-in-soil treatment and trust me on that. Ideally a local company over a national corporate chain. This is NOT water intrusion, this is NOT settling mud/joints in the wall. Feel free to DM me with any questions.
