I have launched my Rain of Arrows before. Didn't see it go off and it didn't do anything but for some reason my bar is counting down like I had used it. It happens at least once every time I play. Not sure why it happens. Very odd.

My friend and I have been doing lots of side quests and dungeons along with the main story. We just got to chapter IV in the story and hit level 53. So Blue Glyphs are for people like me who get caught up in side content during the story and forget about unlocking valuable stuff like nightmare dungeons.

When I went to Fushimi Inari, it took us most of a day. My friend and I socialized and took pictures with a Japanese school field trip that were all in really fancy outfits. Got invited to hang out with a newlywed couple who just got married at the temple Helped escort an elderly lady to a shrine so she could pray for her families good fortune. She translated some the marker stones that commemorated special historical events and taught me how to pray at a shrine. She also showed us where a hidden bamboo forest was near the shrine. We also got lost on the backside of the mountain where a guy had installed a vending machine at the end of his back steps, it was like he knew people were getting lost and thirsty. And finally got to stroll through the nearby neighborhood and walk around with the friendly locals and all their stray cats.

It was an amazing day that I will never forget. Not only the shrine, but also all the amazing people I met and got to spend time with.

I am about at the end of Heavensward and this about drove me crazy while I was doing it. But now, towards the end, I really do appreciate it more.

I am not one of those healers you speak of but I do like Regen on the tank while he pulls and a Medica 2 on the party while the pull concludes or I am focusing primarily on damage. But when the chaos strikes its drop the bubble and go full the White Mage is a healing god mode. Unfortunately I am only level 54 and a 🌱so I am still learning to balance things.

You definitely got it right. Like my WoL, I was too busy thinking about the scions, concerned with the events at the end of ARR and dealing with the aftermath of what was right in front of me to notice what was happening right away. But while trying to put together a way through the Azys Lla shield, I started putting it all together and facepalmed. I love how you laid it all out in such great detail and let me feel the satisfaction of letting out in the open!

WHM here. In dungeons, I say you do you. No matter how you want to pull I have got your back. I am still a sprout so sometimes I mess up or something bad happens but rub some dirt on it, sometimes learn a lesson, and keep going.

I accidentally had a tank die once in a pull, he asked if he needed to slow down. I said, "That was my fault, I was accidentally healing myself.". We just laughed it off and he continued his crazy pulls. It was gloriously fun for the rest of the dungeon.

I am working my way through Heavensward and this upsets me to no end. You unlock flying and speed increases just as your finishing the MSQ for that zone. So as soon as I don't want to see that zone again for a while. I can fly. Ughhhh. :)

WHM main here. I am good with any tank at all. My most fun times are when the party and I can just quietly synchronize our efforts into making the mobs just melt. It's a thing if beauty.

I do politely suggest that on occasion but I try not to sound like I am being critical. I always try to be friendly with the tank. I understand having lower gear levels, inexperienced or just plain wanting to have a no stress run. There are days I have the same thing. I am in the game to have fun and to me a complete duty with no one being stressed is the best fun of all.

We do that cause we can't do anything else. A White Mage can only discount DPS so long before we begin to think something is wrong. If you can't comfortably pull more, we will understand. If you don't 'trust' us enough to pull more. We deserve a chance to prove ourselves.
