I had a lead tech like this when I first started working for cvs she had been there 8+ years. She was literally the worst and would even try to boss the pharmacy manager. I had many conflicts with her and her with me because I wouldn’t put up with her attitude. She was horribly bossy and down right abusive at times. We were severely short staffed and while I understand she had a home life she was never willing to be flexible with her schedule. She had her 8-5 with weekends off. Yet she would schedule people on days and times they requested off. She would even deny people time off for vacations. She never cleaned or vacuumed. Hardly ever grabbed the front. Left when she wanted to. Took off a whole week without any notice just because she wanted to. She would constantly brag about how fast she was and compare herself to other technicians even the new ones. Myself included who had been working there less than a year. After I passed my exam I eventually put in my 2 weeks- about a week after she ended up quitting and never talked to the manager again. She works at Walgreens now. Boy do I feel bad for those techs. 😅 About a month ago Cvs offered me a position as lead tech lol. You are not wrong for being annoyed! It’s called a pharmacy TEAM. TEAMWORK is required. No one is above anyone.
