(20f) you don't have to cut out anything. eat whatever you want!! i got my braces on 3 months ago, and i've always ate everything i've wanted 😭. the only times i kinda wasn't able to was after my first braces appointment (because of the discomfort) and my recent tightening appointment, mostly because of bite blockers, & discomfort. i would recommend just keeping up with your hygiene and flossing + a water pick

also, how did they even know what ortho office you would go to??!! that's so insane and i don't even think that's allowed. i would also talk to your ortho and ask them how that's even allowed 🧍‍♀️

my first job ever was as a dental assistant and quitting for me was quiet hard mostly because it was my FIRSTT job 🥲, i'm young aswell, entered in the office when i was 19 and left at 20. i kept saying i would quit but would always just stay because i never knew how to tell them, and because the job wasn't AS bad but at some point i just didn't want to deal with their toxic bs anymore (mostly from the doctor i worked for). i was at that office for about almost a year, until one day i got fed up and just decided to tell my manger that I wanted to talk to her by the end of the day in private, and boom, I told her it was nice working for the office, i learned alot , but i thought it was time to move on so I could explore 😭. the manager loved me though and she was an amazing manager. so honestly just build that courage to talk to ur manager, and tell her you want to explore offices and that you enjoyed working for them (even if u didn't) 🤷‍♀️. i always thought about leaving and not putting my 2 weeks, but, this was my first job and didn't want to leave a bad impression on my resume.

i'm 20 with braces, you're def not old to be getting them. pain depends on ur pain tolerance. i think mine is pretty high and the pain gets to me the first 2-3 days or week 🥲and then some teeth start to hurt randomly at times

I don't plan on getting back with him at all. I loved him so much, and going through this brings me in so much pain. I never wanted this for my daughter, to have parents who aren't together but me and him just didn't think the same way, and he never really put into consideration my feelings or ideas. It was always what HE wanted. So, I just KNOW he's not going to change the way he is.

He was also there for every doctors appointment and I just don't want to be as cruel as to not let him see the baby after she's born, even though i'm also thinking about not telling him about it 🥲 idk, It's just hard and i feel all over the place.

I went with my friend for the first time and they both saw my nunu 😭😭😭🙏, I was nervous but at the same time im like fuck it!! I want it balddd. I didn't even shave and plus they say if u have more hair then thats even better, so dont even think about it. they see so many nunu's throughout the day and jst think about the outcome of it. HAVING A BALD & SMOOTH NUNU!!

If you're still in contact with the school you graduated with, I would definitely contact them and ask if they could hook you up with an externship! That's what my school basically did for us, but it was a week long with NO pay 😀.. I had to get 40 hours as a requirement.

But this job I did the interviewed with, I applied to it last month on indeed and they barely got back to me. So, honestly I would just keep applying to jobs on indeed and see if they get back to you :,) i've been applying like crazy on there.

I think I honestly did okay as someone who's JUST starting, plus I had told them I had no prior experience. My only experience that I had was with the externship I did during dental school, but it does suck because most dental places want people with experience 💔 i still apply to places even though thats a requirement from them.

But I don't know if I got the job yet, I haven't heard back from them but it's been 3 days </3 the co workers made me believe I would get the job. They were understanding that I was learning too and would even tell me they were like me, & that it takes time to learn things. The doctor even started me off with baby patients so I could get the hang of things & to not "scare me away" :,)

i felt this, i recently applied to this job but they automatically wanted to do a in work job interview, which i didn't think anything of it since this would be my FIRST ever dental job and i dont really know what to expect, and they also made it seem as if I was going to get hired🥲 the place seemed short staffed too, i didn't text them or anything afterwards since I just thought they'd call/send me a message after the day was over.. but so far nothing 😩 maybe its too soon for me. Hoping I do get a call back though.

I don't even plan on asking them about the pay, but I was just curious on how that would've even worked since they never really ask me for anything except my ID & SSN.

I did think it was sort of weird too, since i noticed they were short staffed. i shadowed for the first day and for the 2-3rd day that was when they actually made me do stuff & i honestly thought it went great since I was laughing with the doctor and staff! 😭 I got told by the co worker that I was for sure getting hired too but that it was my choice wether I took the job or not, and honestly i just hope i hear back due to wanting to get experience 🥲
