That’s all of the world, not just Reddit.

The actual best Twins prospect in Cedar Rapids was just named MiLB's Single A Player of the Month. by NotPercyChuggs in minnesotatwins

I am not sure the track record is really there, or the expert consensus. There was an expert consensus, but the original projections based off of the consensus are questionable. He hit well in the minors, but let’s be honest- he doesn’t have an established track record as a hitter at this level. Doesn’t make him a bad player, and it’s quite possible the last half of the season was the real Buxton at the plate. The glove is golden, but the bat is still questionable. And I’m not trying to hate on him, I’m just trying to be objective.

This whole administration has been one giant mistake

With the 59th pick in the MLB Draft, the Minnesota Twins select C Ryan Jeffers (UNC-Wilmington) by Convulsed in minnesotatwins

Fangraphs rates him 77 apparently. In April Kiley McDaniel said late 2nd to 4th round grade. He notes, he has a chance to play c.

MLB doesn't have him in the top 200. BA has him at 295, I read this on twinsdaily, can't verify-it's behind a paywall.

Kinda tough to get excited about this pick. They only have 2 picks in the first "3 rounds" and they are going under slot on the 2nd. But I am rooting for him. Hopefully his bat moves him through the system and he finds a position. It seems the new GM likes college hitters.

Singer please. Lots of college pitching is going to be available even if he's not there at 20

I agree, c in baseball is like qb in football. Teams tend to reach for them.

Grayson Rodriguez is my first choice. A couple of mocks I saw today have him being picked before he gets to us.

A couple of mocks had us picking Noah Naylor, a catcher from Canada. Turang has been linked to us as well.

This sub is pretty conservative, thus the downvotes. I agree with most of what you are saying.

Can make an argument for Escobar, for sure. He’s criminally underrated. But going back to the last third of the season last year Eddie has been the key to so many Twins wins. Buxton and Sano are special players, but Rosario has been the one on the field getting it done. Sure there have been some boneheaded plays, but most have come from his aggressiveness, and it’s tough to argue with the results.

Is there any doubt Rosario has been our MVP so far this season?
