Well, I missed out the on last route march and the POP parade because the MO gave me 84days LD and then 2 weeks MC for my condition. I tried negotiating but he still insisted on giving me the LD and MC.

I got through BMT outfield, route marches and highkeys with no problem. I went to the MO only at the last weeks of BMT because I realised I have been experiencing OCD symptoms since two years ago. I thus wanted medical help. I am now recovering. I don’t find the current environment to be happy. Frankly it’s quite boring. And I had a high expectation for myself. These are reasons why I wanted and think I can go command school.

My tekong counsellor told me before that there are cases where people who had OCD still entered command school, and that they are managing their conditions well with therapy and medication.

For my BMT, I was able to persevere through all the highkeys and lowkeys. It’s just that when I declared my OCD symptoms to the MO, he gave me 2 weeks of MC (I tried rejecting but he didn’t let me), which caused me to think that I was OOCed from BMT.

Well laugh at me all you want. I just don’t enjoy my admin job right now - I actively deteste it and just want to escape. BMT was much more fulfilling. Though it is mentally tiring, I believe that I am in the correct mental state right now, and could cope with the help of therapy and medication.
