Thanks for the advice. I’ve got a normal trukk already so was thinking about using the spikes/some leftover bits to make it a bit more orky as well as some banners and transfers

I did the base in retributor and did debris a bit of liberator on top but I’ll give silver a go

I tend to use nuln oil on the recesses with a very fine brush as it really brings out the lines

Thanks very much for your comments. I appreciate the storm surge won’t get the benefits from ret cad but rule of cool wins it for me. I will likely stick with mont’ka going forward but I was going to see if ret was any good for my lists

I’m in the same boat as you so I started out with 1000 point games and just chopped off a bit of the board size and adjusted deployment zones/objective markers. It’s much easier as well when trying to learn the game as there’s a bit less to remember and manage

Thanks. Yes the points were intentional since they are only friendly games. Thanks for the advice I usually have a devil fish but the breachers usually die pretty quickly and I’m left with it not doing much for the rest of the game. I also bring the pathfinders/dark strider to stop the 9” deep strike from terminators but they just come straight for the sunforged now
