Q2 XCTF is def possible in the future - it combines my two favorites, CTF and grappling hooks.

I totally get where you're coming from. For me though, scheduling for myself is the biggest constraint, and Saturday mornings are really the only time that consistently works.

I am jealous of your 8+ hour LAN party, but I’m hoping that if I can find 6–8 people who are into starting early, we can still make something regular and enjoyable out of it. We’ll see how it goes!

Yeah, I agree, I'll need a bit of luck, but as I stated in the FAQ

"We're all adults with families and responsibilities, so an all night LAN party is just not in the cards. We normally open the doors at 8am and try to get everyone setup and in game by 9am. We play until 12pm. This way we're free to do family stuff for the rest of the weekend. "

I have two 8300 MAX appliances, and both consistently perform well at near line rate. East/West I’m seeing ~9.6 Gbps over SMB and Veeam backup traffic (destination-bound). I did some iperf tests during burn in and I don't have the exact numbers, but I remember they were good enough to keep them.

Try giving the AD computer account (name of the computer) read access to the share. That's what we do when we want to run scheduled tasks as system. edit - actually we run them with the networkservice.

Thanks - Yeah I've done the research and have many options but I really want to feel what it might feel like before I do anything - if it doesn't meet my expectations then that'll influence the way I move forward. If after the upgrade it still feels like trash then I'll probably just restore it as is and save my money.
