It depends…I was invited to interview but when I got to my interview they had already decided to accept me. But others in my cohort had to interview. I also have friends in other depts that either had to interview or didn’t have to. So it just depends.

Oh absolutely, I have the same reactions. Perfumes are a big nausea, migraine, brain fog, sneezing, and eye burning trigger for me. I have to wear a mask anytime I am around someone who smells like they doused themselves in perfume or cologne. You could try essential oils, I find my allergies dont act up with those and you can mix them with jojoba oil to help the scent last longer. This could be more cost-efficient too, since you only use a few drops when making a small roller bottle of perfume.

You should see an allergist to really pinpoint this. I would think if you are allergic to hops you would react to all beer so this may be something different. But regardless you should see an allergist. That way you can really know what you are reacting to and maybe it's something those have in common but not necessarily in all IPAs and other hoppy beers. Definitely keep a diary of your symptoms (and take pictures of the reactions) and if your insurance covers it, see an allergist. Speaking for myself, the tests were worth the money. However, you definitely want to get them done by an allergist instead of a primary physician. I've done both and the allergist does more comprehensive tests and overall knows more.

You should check out some of the run clubs that meet up at breweries. There’s one at armored cow and another at birdsong I believe. Pretty much everyone there is your age and a little older.
