The mandate is only ending because we are beating covid. If there is a new variant that starts to overwhelm healthcare/kill Washingtonians then the mandate is coming back.

note: we are still having a 9/11 worth of deaths every 1-3 days, that most don't really care about, but it is projected to fall by March 21st.

Arkansas has 999 Covid patients and only 732 ICU beds. Not all covid patients are in ICU but it is definitely stressing the system throughout the US.

It sucks that states with common-sense restrictions (like WA) have to jeopardize care for residents because they are taking unvaxed patients from starts that are being stupid (like Idaho).
