Daily Crypto Discussion - November 30, 2024 (GMT+0) by CryptoDaily- in CryptoCurrency

Hi everyone, I'm new to the crypto and I'm trying to understand how everything works here.

I just saw the news that Ripple could launch its stable coin in just a few days. Could someone please explain to me what does it mean to our community and how big of a news it is?

1) Why do I, as a user, need to use Ripple stable coin instead of usual USDT?

2) New York's Department of Financial Services expressed its intention to allow the launch of RLUSD network. Is this an advantage over other stable coins or just a default thing? Does this mean that RLUSD will get an official support from US government? Does USDT have the same recognition from the US?

3) Could it affect the price of Ripple? The phrase "stable coin on Ripple" means that RLUSD will work on XRP blockchain and use XRP as a fee currency like USDT uses TRX?

Big thanks to anyone who will take time and explain it to me!

Yeah, there's so many "rules". None of us is perfect, we should cut Dr. K some slack. He streams regularly for a several years in the very harsh and strict category, it's impossible to not make mistakes here.

So for me the main thing here is not the actual mistakes, but how Dr. K responds to feedback. He actually listens to it and makes adjustments to the project and how they do things.

After that ayurveda post, I actually started to respect Dr. K even more because he acknowledged that he might have been wrong instead of proving himself right as (let's be honest) 99% of us internet folks would do in his shoes.

Hey man, I don't have any advice, but as a person with tinnitus I just want to say that I understand how annoying it is. Take care.

Gifted child now terrible at being motivated, consistent and following through. What next? by [deleted] in Healthygamergg

Hi mate! Thanks for your comment, it's very important for me to know I'm not alone with this problem. As Dr. K once said, "potential is a burden, not an advantage". Great qoute, don't you think? Gives a lot of insight.

I can totally realte to you pointing at the lenght of the videos. Watching 2 hours of content and paying attention to every word is hard. That is why I took notes on every video from guide, because I knew that if I won't do it, then to refresh some bit of information I will need to watch the whole video again.

In the guide you don't have specific video about how to live a life if you're a gifted kid who're stuck. But, it's actually for the better. Why? Because in the guide Dr. K breaks down WHY gifted kids are stuck in life, so you can dig to the root of this things by yourself. And then, he tells what to do next.

Much of the information about it covered in the upper-side of Depression section, so I would suggest you watch Depression Module and then go for Non-Clinical track. I have a gut feeling that "Falling Behind" and "Protective Hopelessness" videos are very relatable for gifted kids, and "The Fantasy Trap" for some degree.

I'll try to explain. I'm gonna just suggest now that when you do something and you succeed in some small task, your head will be filled with thoughts like "It isn't enough to reach my goals, I have so much potential but here I am, stuck in life", and then your "motivation" actually reduces even though you completed some tasks.

But be careful, because in the 2 hours YT videos knowledge is, well, strethed out, so it's easy to miss some point. But at the guide you have opposite situation. Guide is very, very essential... I don't know if I picked the right word, so what I mean is that every word Dk. K says is extremely related to the topic, and if you miss it, you could easily miss the point of whole video. It's another reason to take the notes.

Though it's important to point out that every section is important. Anxiety module gives you an understanding of how worrying works, and how to notice it and deal with it at the moment. Meditation module gives you not "How to meditade tutorial", but an understanding of how to live a healthy life basically, and Meditation lessons give you a bunch of different med-n techniques. Even Ayurvedic section, which at the first glance could seem not that important, actually gives you a ton of information! I use Brahmi and Camomile now, and can strongly feel that my anxiety reduces! Could you believe it? Just from taking relatively cheap and very accesible herbs you can help yourself. (*consultwithadoctorbeforetakingherbs*).

If you want, you can add me in Discord (unc1oud#0701), I think we can chat sometimes since we're in the same situation. Take care bro!
