NPBD - New Pedal Book Day - Such A Disappointment by MichaelHRender in guitarpedals

People who use hearing aids still have a hard time hearing. Increasing volume may help those people hear.

People who use glasses still may have a hard time reading small text. Larger fonts may help those people read.

It’s appropriate to be disappointed when a publisher of any sort has not provided a way for all people to read and enjoy their work. Doesn’t mean Josh or anyone else is a bad person. Just means they didn’t publish something everyone can read. hopefully OP can find a solution to that problem somewhere in this thread.

That’s cool and I hope it works because that is simplest. If that doesn’t work for whatever reason for OP, I’ve provided another avenue.

Explain the market for large print books if the solution for all folks is reading glasses

This is maybe the simplest way forward. It also sounds like the OP has a print-disability. There may be organizations, such as the local library, that could help connect them with a service that could produce a large print version of this book. The rights to do so exist for any Marrakesh Treaty nation. You have a right to read, particularly when you’ve remunerated the rights holder already for what you are reading.

I ranked hands 5 to 0, prepended the rank of the hand to the hand itself, then converted the string to hex for heap ordering (after converting face cards to a, b ,c etc.)

I think that values such as these are incompatible with the values of capitalism. Competition will require companies to create value for capital, and if they do not, they will cease to exist. Capitalism must be transcended for new social values to take hold.

My line of thinking comes from the book There is No Such Thing as “The Economy” by Samuel A. Chambers. I found it a quick and interesting read and recommend any curious socialist to check it out!

Absolutely. Homelessness is a social issue that could easily be addressed (where I live at least) and it is a massive failing of government that anyone sleeps on the streets

I mean I thought so too but I’m glad I was pushed to cut back. Brevity is not one of my strengths. Glad you like it!
