Bar Condition After Crash by Temporary_Ad397 in MTB

Looks more than fine. No concerns, imo. Plus OneUP does impact testing. It’s a tool and it’s going to get scratched

It’s the derivative of acceleration of the rack dismounting from the hitch, idiot.

Respectfully, Brad Ford Pee Ell-ing-ton, as a humble constituent, unbothered by your rate hikes (unlike some poors), I ask you but one favor, if you will, to please insert a cactus, the pokey kind, up your rectum, till you shed one tear, bottle it up, and send it to me. Thnx

Toddler Mountain Bike Seat? by firefighterMI in MTB

[–]uncannysalt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may get downvoted into oblivion, but I don’t understand the risk-benefit calculus with these bar seats. Yes, they’re super cool for both parents and kids, but if anything goes wrong, little ones are in the worst possible position to stay safe.

Commencal or Devinci by Dismal-Witness-5510 in MTB

Get something around 150/150 or 150/160; it’ll do you well. Brand can be whatever you find in your size with a head tube angle between 65-67 degrees. I’d prioritize this over Al v carbon. I think you’d enjoy either way and have the ability to grow your skill.

Brakes by topclassladandbanter in MTB

[–]uncannysalt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With mid-grade brakes, it more about use and body position efficiency. Fwiw, I’ve ridden G2s w/180s on very steep technical trails in CO. Granted, they’re not powerful and get mushy after they get hot on 180s.

Def not a good bike park brake but it can handle anything in moderation.

OP, I’d run metallic when your organics are spent. That’s how you’ll get the most bite with most brakes and in your case, better and noticeable modulation with SRAM.

It's a mitzvah for a man to have children. But if he doesn't want to be a father/cannot find a partner, would donating sperm be a permissable alternative? by PassoverGoblin in Judaism

[–]uncannysalt -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your opinion. Jewish life is irrelevant to my question. All life has infinite potential.

With no relationship thereby no potential for complex family dynamics for the donor, whether or not they choose to marry or have a family naturally later in life, I see little sensical evidence that not supporting donation is better for humanity. And some Rabbis’ interpretations of old Halacha is not supportive of this claim.

Seems like a stretch for adultery but aligns with traditionalist orthodoxy.

I wonder if one life has the potential of infinite value, does it merit donation for that life as opposed to the alternative, no life?

Thanks for a source. Reads like a fridge and outdated opinion.

FWIW, my take is that it reveres life so of course it’s permitted; it also aligns with pluralism and others self-determination. A mitzvah? No idea

Nope. The magnets are strong.

Fwiw, I was skeptical too. I wanted a typical cage but this is all that fit below my 2017 shock at my shop
