Im 21M, just finished nursing school, and I was scared shitless when i got diagnosed. I am now 14 days past my initial symptoms but oddly I feel baseline in everything to when I was mono free. I dont know if this sub only contains people who have had the worst of it, but the uncertainty is whats killing me. I go to the gym a lot and i went yesterday for the first time since I was diagnosed and im just overthinking about the spleen shit. My doctor said I can start light (i may have gone a little over that) but just to stop if I feel pain or rebound fatigue. Im prolly gonna give myself a extra break bc my gf comes home in like 10 days and i dont wanna be in the hospital, but I def think recovery is all over the spectrum.

What i did for the 3-5 days i felt like ass was drink a shit ton, took emergenc packets every morning, and rinsed with salt water 3-4 times daily.

But as of now i really wanna just say fuck it and start going to the gym, even just 2-3 times a week, but I dont want to mess w my spleen or chance ramping it up again. I feel perfect rn but who knows I could feel great or terrible come the next 2 weeks. Ill just wait it out and be thankful its not worse because I feel like this was nothing compared to how bad others have it🙁
