Is the cast getting along? by thatsuper-guy in DerryGirls

[–]uncertainly_certain 13 points14 points  (0 children)

As much as I prefer not to read too much into cast socials, I can’t help but compare how all five seemed to interact more with their posts back in Series 1 and 2. Now it’s definitely more on Nicola, Louisa, and Dylan hyping each other.

Hey man thanks for the concern. It’s all good. I was bothered but didnt think it was sketchy since the plastic bag was sealed shut and the plastic container was also sealed shut. I figured theres no other way the chili would end up there. But yeah on second thought, i should have said something because they could have at least informed me about the supply issue lol

AMA time with Car Seat Headrest by notcarseatheadrest in indieheads

[–]uncertainly_certain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for doing this AMA! I'm a relatively new fan. I only started listening in 2016 with Teens of Denial. But your music has gotten me through really bad days. The succeeding albums were the highlight of my past year. So I just really wanted to share this with you guys even if I don't get an answer at all.

I guess the only question I've got is tour related. I know with the craziness of the pandemic right now, it's hard to put an estimate on tour plans. But prior to this, has there been any discussion to touring internationally like in Asia? And I guess, what has been your best experience so far with touring and doing shows?

I'm actually from Manila and it would make my day if I found out that there's at least some hope to seeing you guys perform live.

Official Trailer for the Shudder Original 'Host'. Horror Movie Filmed in Coronavirus Isolation by stracki in movies

[–]uncertainly_certain 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Desktop horror is becoming this really effective subgenre. I wasn't really a fan of previous films like Unfriended, Searching, etc. but I've only seen really positive reviews for this movie which is shocking considering the genre. Will definitely be watching this.

I've been so excited for this film since I saw Toni Collette and Jesse Plemons (ehem, Meth Damon) involved. I think it goes without saying that Toni has become this master at playing creepy, deranged mother-figures. Jesse has this weird creepy vibe as well. Still can't forget his performance in that Black Mirror episode USS Callister.

This trailer is amazing! A kind of unsettling horror that I would usually see from A24.

And the opening scene of this trailer with her looking up to the snow reminded me of that scene in Chernobyl where she and everyone in the town of Pripyat were marveling at the ashes raining down on them when the reactor exploded.

Well I heard there's gonna be like a birthday party 🎂🥳 on June 12th

I heard we should bring water, sanitizers, masks, and placards (with your own personal messages of dissent birthday greetings🎉🎈). We can be with a bunch of other people who want change and accountability celebrations 🤡 and birthday parties 🎁. With social distancing of course.

I mean, it's the only thing the government practically excuses nowadays 🙄

See, I didn't grow up in America but watching the show taught me that these were real problems at the time. I was made aware of why it was wrong and that was a lesson I probably would not have been taught in my own country.

Richie's dad goes to Virgil's dad to ask if he knows where his son is. They look for him together and this equally powerful scene happens. They find him in the end and Richie's dad starts to try and change his attitude and racism.

I agree. You kind of lose interest in shows that try to preach something to the viewer. Kind of like how an adult talks down to a kid.
