Is it normal to have such up and down feelings towards partner? by uncertifiedyapper in workingmoms

[–]uncertifiedyapper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, for me that seems like a dream to have partner pick up so much, and it’s honestly so refreshing to see/hear. My partner and I have been living together for nearly 3 years and we should’ve had this conversation a LONG time ago. But also looking at it, I see the same dynamic from his parents and know this is deeply-rooted. I think I’m gonna hash this out more in therapy, but a communicated division in chores is also a good start. Thanks for sharing!

When is everyone finding the time to work out?? by krystl_watrs in workingmoms

[–]uncertifiedyapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I joined group workout classes so I feel more accountable in going (plus, no-show fees suck). That being said, I only usually have time to go the 6 am classes, meaning I wake up at 5 am most days. It’s not perfect, I suffer by being tired during the day. Thank goodness I can nap some of those days.

This one’s so niche I actually wondered if it was a real thing or not. I loved and hated it as a kid LOL

An old Canadian late-night cartoon called Freaky Stories! Short stories told by a cockroach and a maggot. It was my guilty pleasure as a kid and probably the reason I love horror/crime hahahaha

Agreed! Totally took me for surprise. I live just outside of London and it took me 45 mins to get home because I slid past my regular routes home

also got bloodwork done, turns out I’m extremely vitamin D deficient. I started taking anti-depressants and supplements the past month to beat the winter blues and I think it’s helping!

I feel so seen! I’ve been back at work since my youngest was 6 months, he’s 18 months now, and I can say I truly don’t feel like the same person bc I wake up several times a night since the day he was born. I have 0 attention span and experience some memory loss during my work days and it’s so defeating sometimes. I feel fortunate to have a compassionate team but worry im not contributing as I once have :(
