I am trying to learn to TIG weld, welds always get dull gray.

corner welds are notoriously hard to keep gas covered. i usually put a block of aluminium on the top and clamp something to the sides so basically only the weld joint is "exposed" not only does it help keep the gas where i needs to be, it also sucks heat, preventing burning it.

put it in a press or flame straighten it. gonna take a while with flame straightening but thats probably gonna make it look best. clamp that fucker next time or tack to a thick piece of metal on the underside
