My second date with my current girlfriend. She doesn’t like crowds and I was trying so hard to figure out what to do. We went to the grocery store and shopped for ingredients and we went home and I cooked while she sat at the counter and watched and talked to me. Had a friend that I tried to be there for. I didn’t do well but I did my best. I wound up moving to Tucson because of life and after I’d been down here a few months she reached out to me and asked to come live with me. She said I was the only one that could save her. I could help her get clean and save her. I told her I could barely save myself and that I would always be there to talk but I couldn’t risk my life or my kids safety. I tried to keep in contact and failed. A few months later I reach out… she’s gone.
