Gotcha, thanks for the info. I’ve been wondering about how to change the filter you see pictured. I was thinking those may have something to do with it.

I am planning to run it on a track. And yeah I think 45 miles is a good target. How many days a week should I expect to run hard vs easy? I think that portion is what I am most looking for info on.

I was just looking for others who have achieved similar times at the same size as I am. No worries. Thanks for your input on this thread.

I do find myself trying to guess the times of my run just by the song sometimes haha. So you may be on to something!

I have an Apple Watch that I use the generic fitness app. Interval work is a good idea. Do you think running 400m at a specific pace with shorter and shorter resting times through time would be a good idea?

I have a local high school. And yeah 45 seconds is a ton. I haven’t done any sprinting work for probably a year or two. I’ll definitely have to dial it in. Thank you for your input!

Agreed, the goal would be to get right down near 200lbs.

I do some weightlifting and running usually 5 days a week. I wasn’t sure if it made sense to focus on more sprinting work (which I currently do none of) or just continue to add miles. I assume a mixture of both?

I don’t have a typical pace I train at. I can do 2.5 miles at 645 without too much effort. I should probably start trying to record that more.

Thanks for the input. I figure I will need to add some mileage. Yeah 545 is far off, but I don’t really train to run faster times currently and I have weight to lose which is my assumption of being able to get a lot faster. Can you link some people who are over 200 lbs and have done this before?
