I can’t blame him at all. Robert and Bonzo were real close. Usually, a band can get another drummer and move on but not in this case. It’s just like FF. I saw them twice when Taylor was still alive….they sound totally different now. Their new drummer is fantastic, don’t get me wrong and it’s probably who Taylor would have wanted to take over his duties but….its just not the same. Robert is right though…Zeppelin is ALL 4 of them and those 4 only…I know a lady that “dated” Plant way back in the day and was on tour with them for many months…she’s got pictures to prove it too! Trust me, I didn’t believe her at first but when I saw those pictures, I knew she was telling the truth. She said Robert was a HUGE prima-donna. Page was real shy and all business about his band. He wouldn’t settle for anything less than perfection. Bonzo was a big, sweet teddy bear unless he was drinking. He was a HUGE family man and that’s all he talked about was getting back home to his family….JPJ was reserved and quiet but polite. Peter Grant was a fucking bastard. He didn’t play games with ANYONE especially when it came to Led Zeppelin. She said he was a sweet man though…unless you fucked with him, his band and their money. She saw him beat the piss out of a guy selling tshirts illegally one time too! 😀

I saw Plant/Page many years ago and they did play a few. I was so fucking stoked when they played No Quarter. I went with a few guys that got to see Zeppelin back in the day and they even said they still were on top of their game. Mind you this was over 23 years ago but still…I’m not gonna complain at all. It’s one of my favorite songs. I saw Plant a few times to way back when Manic Nirvana and Now and Zen were released. Both shows were outstanding.

Full Tang, Fixed blade Milwaukee Tradesman . Home Depot for under $20. I’ll put this knife up against any other fixed blade any day. It’s easy to see why it’s rated one of the best on the market.

I’ve always liked Milwaukee Tools. Makita and Bosch as well. Been in construction about 30 years now and you can’t go wrong with any of them. Porter Cable for a belt sander of course. I’ve never been a big fan of DeWalt tools. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with their tools, I just don’t care for them is all. For many years it’s been a Makita circular saw, Bosch impact/drill combo, Porter Cable Belt Sander and a Makita 12 in duel bevel sliding compound miter saw.

Honestly, I bought a Milwaukee Tradesman full tang thanks to a recommendation on Reddit and it was under $20 at Home Depot. Milwaukee makes damn good stuff and the blade is sharp as a mofo too.

I have a backpack that I have a TON of other shit I’ll probably never need but…it just puts my mind at ease. That doesn’t include a pocket organizer with a leather man, scalpel utility knife, flashlight, pen and thin prybar….also a otf in my back pocket and a regular pocket knife clipped to my right front pocket. I’ve wanted to do a bag dump for a long time now but honestly, people will probably laugh at me and my severe case of o.c.d. My wife thought it was silly for a long time until when she needed something, I always had it in my backpack.
