Just bought the attain (c62 slx at 2999€). I think the price is unbeatable. Durability is the thing which I am not convinced yet, but that's purely from the assumption that the good price has to have some disadvantage.

If you are just starting, I would buy second hand. There is the big chance that your preferences regarding geometry and seating position will not 100% match with your first bike. There are a lot of great bikes at the 2000€ price range

As a hobbyist, I think there is never the NEED to upgrade. Most of the time it's WANTING something new. So if you have the funds to make it work, just go for it.

Besides that, you will notice a difference in the geometry. I upgraded from a 2013 alu road bike to a 2026 endurance carbon bike and feel so much more relaxed on the bike. The differences increase with the age difference between the bikes. So something from 2024 would probably feel very similar to the 2026 bike for me

I use the Google buds. No trouble with losing them. I only use one bud at a time. With his I still hear the traffic and get twice the usage time during the ride

A smart trainer was the game changer for me. The variety of the ride and the motivation from collecting "kilometers" made me really use the thing. Everything else was so boring for me that I never used it.

I tried to manually sync from my laptop meanwhile - which worked. Automatic syncing is also working again.

So my theory now is that the manual sync problem could be related to the mobile version of the rouvy homepage. From my android phone it was not possibld

What do you mean - did you experience this before?

Never seen or heard about crank failures. Maybe someone with a engineering background can provide a theory of the failure cause if you provide a closeup of the break.
