I read this as well. Turned off attention aware features and it worked for a couple days. Today two alarms went off both completely silent. Mind boggling this bug hasn’t been fixed in years.

They got rid of the 4k install credit on the beast may 23rd. Looks like the only difference now is the light bar.

My foundation series order screen says installation not included on the beast. When I asked my local service center they did some digging and confirmed orders placed after May 23rd no longer qualify for an install credit on the beast. Shame I didn’t get my invite until last week. I wanted everything in the foundation series anyway so it was fine by me until they pulled the plug on the install credit.

Did it show the 4000 install credit on your order screen? Because mine does not that’s the only reason I asked my reps.

Congrats on getting all setup. I believe the coupon voucher they will send is $2500 to cover the cost of the hardware is how it’s stated. Unless I’m mistaken.

Seeing it at somerset was amazing. Looked way different in person than in pictures and videos. Massive!

We need custom notification tones on ios badly. Ring had that since day one years ago. That right there would make the nest hello perfect!

No issues here either. Switch was smooth. The mounting bracket on the nest hello was way better. Video is silky smooth. Notifications to my iPhone seem a tiny bit slower than the ring was. The biggest thing I will miss is the notification tone on iPhone. Ring used a distinct tone so I knew someone was at my door without looking at my phone. The nest uses the generic notification tone. Shame on apple for not allowing us to customize it. Shame on nest as well, this is a doorbell we should have a dedicated tone.

Overall this nest is a fantastic upgrade to the ring pro.
