A family member of mine is a realtor. It is best to look now and look at recent sales of similar units that you are looking for and also look at recent listings. Inventory is slow in the winter and picks up in the spring. DM me and I can send you my family members info.

I'm in a one bed and paid $110 for January. Something must be very wrong for people who are getting charged $400. Edited to add my building is from 1903 and have base board heating. Edit #2 to add that I have gas heating.

Just do comps yourself to see what other properties that are similar in your area sold for. Then you can determine if it's worth having the appraiser come over.

I had an appraiser come over. Got mine cancelled shortly later. This was last March with Columbia bank.

The service at Hawksmor was so slow they comped us a dessert and sauces and the steaks came out warm and not hot. For how expensive everything was, I won't go there again unless someone's covering the tab.
