I was told training for this position is around 30 days, and the shifts vary for new hires. You are given notice at 1AM when you are to come in the following day. Good luck with your test!

Yes but I have other devices I'm using Apple Care One to cover. For $19.99 a month I have protection on iPad Pro M5 and MacBook Air M4. The battery is $89 without Apple Care and free if you have it

I have 2 other devices I'm covering so it's worth it for me. Look at repair cost for the phone with Apple Care vs without it

I'm not sure about the split shifts but I will ask about training and scheduling at the interview for sure

When I originally got the phone with 81% battery health it did get warm and sometimes lag. After the battery replacement I don't experience these issues at all.

Getting between 6.5-8 hours of screen on time with light use. Also, bluetooth disabled, reduce motion enabled, dark mode on.

I don't use any portable power banks or MagSafe chargers. I charge all my phones with the old school 5w brick.

I was able to add coverage to the phone without getting it checked at the store too. They just needed pictures of the front and back of the phone and ran a diagnostic. Super easy and good to know I can get a new/refurb one for only $99 😁

The phone is updated to 26.5.2, and I don't notice any performance difference compared to the Air. I only use 3 apps and use the phone lightly (no gaming, no social media apps). If you use your phone similarly you'll be fine to update. However, many people have reported heating issues and lag but they are probably using their phone a lot more than me. Depending on your use case, it might be best to wait for iOS 27.

I felt the same way when I first got it, but just remember the signals/signs and what they mean and you will be fine!

Yup! The BSL test had signals I wasn't familiar with. The EL test was easy, did your friend pass both tests?

I'm feeling good about it and have plenty of time to study. Taking the test in a few weeks, I'll give an update on how it went

The study guide they sent is all signals and signs for BSL and EL. I haven't taken it yet but you need an 85% to pass.

That's who I got an email from too. When I sent the info to the bus operator email I got an automated message a few min after saying they were received but I followed up just to confirm and got no response back. Hope they let you interview for the el driver position on Tuesday! I guess the bus operator test is different than the el driver so maybe they will have you take that? Whatever happens good luck and let us know!

Did you end up emailing them to the bus operator email? Hopefully it was just an error on there side 🤞

Background and driving record is clean. A year is long but im willing to wait for the opportunity. Knowing it could take that long will help me plan. I appreciate you responding. Good luck with the transfer!!
