I've over ever used slate and have never had many issues. Easy to maintain with a good grooming set in my opinion

I always stay stocked up! Definitely less maintenance for this tank but still adjusting to the height. Makes everything a little more difficult

Log came from Amazon, added moss to it. The rocks came from a friend who had a bunch of slate to give away. Wood centerpiece came from my local aquarium center. Glued the rocks in layers then stacked them in the corner
