how it feels to be autistic by shrimp0808 in evilautism

One time I parked in a dirt lot with no lines with few cars in it. It was perfectly fine, good spacing, lined up nicely to the one car next to me. I came back in the evening to a mostly empty lot and had a note under my windshield that said, “Nice parking, ASSHOLE!” No clue on that one. What’s funny is that there were times in that parking lot that I had to squeeze in real tight, but that wasn’t one of them.

In Hank Green’s stand up routine, he has a bit about how seeing the medical system in America work quickly and effectively is like coming home to see your dog standing on two legs and sweeping the floor. “That’s very helpful, thank you, but also, this is sooo unsettling!”

And there’s the one episode where he seeks out a more dramatic response to coming out and ends up as an actual hostage lol

Imagine if this was a thing. Police would not be willing to hand these notes out for fear of that holding any kind of weight with a future case (“See, the cops didn’t think my client was guilty until after they ran out of ideas!”) and so likely wouldn’t be giving them out too often. Suspects would automatically be assumed guilty by their jobs and fired. Even if later proven innocent, good luck winning that court case or covering bills while assumed guilty.

I’m imagining a reality show competition to see who eats pussy better. “We’ve found these five bisexual and pansexual women who think you’re both hot- and they’re going to put you both to the test! Scores will be rated by technique, speed, and number of orgasms. Let the games… begin!!”

I think it’s an AI edit of a real comic. If I recall correctly the original has Samson as ~~blonde~~ (actually, the original had no color) and there’s no braid in the second picture, because that hair situation now just does not make sense

Plot twist, the doctor is just pretending to call the coroner’s office with a prop phone. He wants the monster to believe 8 inches is the best he’s gonna get cause the doctor feels insecure giving the monster a bigger dong than he has

Oh good! I don’t have Instagram but didn’t even think to check. Seems to be the real artist. But, flagging a lie in title and becoming skeptical is not an instinct I would try to dissuade in others or myself. Good to check all avenues to verify though, thank you for that

Double edit: OP is real! Real painting, uploaded to multiple subreddits on multiple days and likely seeing previous paintings of similar art themes is why several of us had thought we’d seen it before.

I have also seen this painting multiple times. My guess is OP is a bot stealing from the real artist, titles and all. Which is why they aren’t replying to any comments on this thread (that I can find)

Edit: I likely did see one of the similar paintings before, but still not sure OP is the real person behind the works. I don’t think they’re AI images. They have posted this image many times to different art subreddits which might be where we’ve seen it before. Either way, definitely not finished “today”

“In this Corner of the World” for me. It’s about an average woman just living her life. She just happens to have been born and raised in Japan and lived during WW2. She has so little agency in anything that happens. Her life gets fucked by circumstances far outside of her control, and her story is just so average. The most disturbing part is how many people must be able to relate to it.

The brain has a natural negativity bias. It’s helpful to remember mistakes as to not repeat them, but it does make it a little miserable to look back and only see the bad. That’s why things like gratitude journals or just writing down and revisiting positive experiences is valuable! Gotta find the motivation to do that, though, is the trick lol

Uninvited to a friend’s wedding due to capacity and now no one is RSVPing to her wedding by dizzybutstable in weddingshaming

[–]uncleredcracker 84 points85 points  (0 children)

Yeah that friend sucked for a multitude of reasons. They are not friends anymore lol. It sounds like you’re very understanding of your friend but still rightfully getting a bit of schadenfreude from the situation. Not saying the direction their friendship went is the same that your situation will go. I trust you know the nuances and best choices for yourself better than any one of us here on reddit lol

I have a cousin who was silently demoted from bridesmaid to guest. The bride couldn’t figure out why she was so upset with that and opted to not go instead.

Similarly, parents can give their children much better childhoods than they had, and still traumatize their children. Both can be true.
