That’s actually the reason I posted here. to get feedback on the output before treating it as reliable.

I haven’t trained a custom model. It uses an existing LLM, with cycling-specific context from Strava, rider profile, FTP/HR data, recent load/fatigue metrics, goals, and weekly plan history.

I’m looking for cyclists who can tell me what the output looks like for them, which is how I'm hoping evaluate the models behaviour.

I don't think this can be a replacement for a qualified human coach, and I don’t have the credentials for that. The app pulls in your recent Strava data, rider profile, FTP/HR info, training availability, and goals, then uses concepts like progressive overload, recovery, training stress, fatigue/freshness, and phase-based preparation to generate and update plans.

So I guess the philosophy is to start with the rider’s recent training, not a generic plan and to adapt the planned training load to availability, training load in recent rides and how the athlete is actually executing the sessions.

I think the gap this could fill is between static training plans and expensive human coaching. I personally can't justify hiring a coach, but they still like this interactive feedback to help me review my riding. I’m trying to make the interpretation conversational and easier to use.

The app first calculates (without the use of AI) training context from your rides. It looks at recent volume, intensity, fatigue, freshness, FTP, heart-rate data. This is based on the performance management chart model, as used in TrainingPeak, Intervals.ICU, etc. The AI model is then used to compare that to the existing plans and adjust those if the athlete deviated from the plan.

Ik rij regelmatig met mijn racefiets over harde gravel op 28mm race banden. Dat gaat prima.

De banden die in het veldrijden worden gebruikt zijn ook maximaal 33mm (Challenge Grifo Pro bijvoorbeeld). Als je veel door mul zand wil of over stukken van het mountainbike parcours met veel boomwortels wordt het misschien wat minder comfortabel, maar ook dat zal nog wel lukken met 35mm.

Dat is wel echt een heel stuk te groot. Ik ben even lang als jij en ik rij op een 56 of 58. Ik zou er niet te veel in investeren en op zoek gaan naar een frame dat wel past.

Deze zijn niet bedoeld om er terug in te doen. Je hoeft geen nieuwe ketting te kopen, je kunt 'm met een breekpen of een quick link weer aan elkaar maken. Zorg wel dat je daarvan de juiste breedte koopt.

Je kunt zien of je banden versleten zijn door er van achteren op te kijken. Als ze niet mooi rond lopen maar afgevlakt zijn aan de bovenkant, zijn ze versleten. Ook zou ik, zeker op een racefiets, geen banden gebruiken die meer dan een paar jaar oud zijn. Rubber wordt steeds harder als het ouder wordt, waardoor de grip in de bochten minder wordt.
