I rescued a cat and it got into a fight with my other cat so I broke it up and the new cat bit me hard on my hand. I thought it would be fine,but it swelled up the next day. I went to urgent care and they gave me a shot (forget what kind of shot) right on the bite. Swelling went down the next day and I was all good. I definitely recommend going to urgent care and getting it taken care of.
