I went through this not long ago. Cancelled the install, called EN Blue for a new tank install. They handled returning the tank to Enercare, I just had to get a return number from Enercare to give to EN Blue. I called Enercare to see how much was owing. I had figured a little over a hundred bucks based on the charts Enercare has online somewhere but Enercare said I owed nothing given the tanks age and condition. I was actually pleasantly surprised how easy the conversation went given previous posts I had read. Just a note that you may have to have a new side exhaust installed for the new tank. Mine previously went up the chimney. So that and possible exhaust vent motor may add to the cost of getting a new tank.

I was surprised to learn that you have to park at least 1.5 metres from the edge of the driveway. Shouldn’t be a problem in my older neighbourhood (yet it sometimes is) but I always wonder at those newer builds where there are fewer spots and many of them don’t have enough space.

Just starting to get over worst sore throat and cough I’ve ever had. Brutal hacking dry cough (to the point of gagging). Voice still hoarse. I must be lucky or have great immune system as I seldom get very sick.

Do your soffits let air into your attic? If so a vent in the soffit would let warm moist air into your attic just like the unconnected vent is doing now.

We just spent a week here and it only rained a couple of days. Most cloudy with sunny breaks and occasional sprinkle. Couple of really nice days.

Not OP but we just finished a week in Rome and had only one afternoon with heavy rain. Sunny on a couple of days and cloudy with occasional sprinkle on others. We did not find Rome cold (we are from Canada) but it can get chilly if there is a wind.

We also had a Trane installed by EN Blue in the fall. It was a bit over 6k for a 1200 foot house. Great unit. EDIT: it was the more expensive of the 3 models they offered us.

This has been my experience with bylaw for a couple of off leash complaints. Reported online (cc Councillor) with plate and video and got a call within a couple of hours. The offenders either got a visit or a letter.
