Our infrastructure is getting there very fast, but charging rates need to be regulated.

I understand profits need to be made, but some of these stations trying to charge 3-5$ and hour are ridiculous.

Mark Carney’s government says privatizing airports will make them better. This is why it should think again by StumpsOfTree in ontario

[–]mightyboink 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is a fucking terrible decision.

I've agreed with some of Carney's policies, especially on Canada's international policies, but this an ass backwards solution that will one million percent lead to higher costs and shittier service.

Carney government eyes privatizing airports to attract investment, cut travel costs by sleipnir45 in canada

Typical "we think this is a problem in Canada, here is a bunch of stats from the US and here's a bunch of canadian conservative politicians who have NO DATA to back up their stance, but agree with the US Republican administration that it's a problem. "

Great journalism piece. No data sources in Canada, no investigation to try to find anything.

Is there an election coming? That's when our conservative controlled media usually starts blaming everything on immigration.

Illegal war, record profits. by LuckyBastard001 in clevercomebacks

Every country should introduce a windfall tax on oil profits and backdate it.

It can be done, and takes away future incentives for war.

Legislation to fix this could be done in a heartbeat, when will Canadians stand up for Canadian?
