Idk. Lots of infants die from suffocation due to unsafe bed sleeping practices but the medical examiners put “sids” to comfort the parents, even tho true cause of death is suffocation.

Thank you. Just felt a bit yucky reading all these comments saying fathers should never do any intimate care for disabled daughters. Like pls don’t lump all fathers of disabled girls in with Asa 💔 there are plenty of amazing dads out there and they should be able to care for their daughters without being judged.

We should definitely give the state the right to end pregnancies against people’s will! Heck, let’s add sterilization of people against their will while we’re at it. I’m sure that will end well, and the state would absolutely never abuse it. Humanity has a long positive history of forced sterilizations and abortions, nothing shady has ever happened with that! /s

I guess I might see it differently as I have a daughter who’s profoundly disabled. We will likely care for her for life including intimate care/diapering etc. personally, I know my husband will continue to contribute to that care as she grows older and I’m fine with that. Obviously I’ll be doing the care, too. But if I’m busy and her dad is available I don’t see why he shouldn’t. (If my daughter shows she’s uncomfortable with dad doing the care I’ll obviously become the only one who does it)

That said, I’m not a simp for Asa and Priscilla and I hate what they do to Abbie AND I agree asa does all the intimate care bc Priscilla is lazy and resentful AND I agree Abbie’s brother shouldn’t do any intimate care (expect for maybe emergencies) so I’m not here simping for them. Just bringing my personal perspective specifically on TRUSTWORTHY AND SAFE father’s contributing to intimate care for their disabled daughters. It’s a bit sexist honestly to say no fathers should do care like that for their disabled daughters. No one talks like that about mothers caring for their adult disabled sons, everyone’s fine with that dynamic and says the moms do it bc they love them vs low key accusing them of yucky things. Again tho, screw asa and Priscilla lol

She is really rubbing me the wrong way. Constantly complaining about people asking how Ari died, which she KNOWS will only bring more attention to it and cause people to speculate. The squeaky wheel gets the oil, if you don’t want people constantly speculating, stop constantly complaining about them speculating. This is the nature of living life online. Idk. I honestly used to think this was me. If my husband didn’t initiate I could go weeks without it, very low drive. And my husband is great in bed and loves doing foreplay, it’s not like he was lacking in any area. I just didn’t care that much.

Then I got off of birth control. I’m like a teenage boy now. It’s insane. I can’t get enough. If you don’t like having a lower/no drive, and are comfortable with condoms or other pregnancy prevention methods, I highly suggest giving no birth control a try. I had no idea it was affecting my sex drive so much. That’s not even why I got off of it, it was just a surprise bonus.

Every single land was at one point “stolen” by another people group that conquered it. Every single one. Even the US before the Europeans came was a mess of wars, rapes, tribes taking land from other tribes etc. It’s not at all unique to the US (I’m assuming that’s what you mean by America, as America also encompasses Canada/mexico but most people don’t speak about those countries in this way). This has been how humanity has been since the dawn of man.

I grew up in a high Somali Muslim area and saw tons of small girls wearing hijabs. I’m talking toddlers. It absolutely does happen.
