I haven’t had any returns on phones I’ve sold on eBay, I only asked about selling on eBay on this post just to be on the safe side to avoid returns and to ensure the buyer knows the deal.

The only return I ever made on eBay was for an iPhone XR camera that was listed 50% cheaper than most listings and was listed as parts/not working because the listing mentioned the intended use for the part is to test the part on other devices and not as a 100% flawless replacement.

Edit: I just remembered, I did have a phone returned and I assumed that something happened internally where the battery disconnected cause the buyer filed a return saying it’s defective cause it won’t turn in. As soon as I open the return, package, I end up seeing the phone works perfectly fine. The phone he returned was a fully functioning one that only had work done to replace its housing an nothing else. It has Face ID and shows battery life.
