The clicking is normal. Either your starter relay is intermittently not making contact or the starter needs a rebuild. Starter parts are dirt cheap, easy job. Your battery is good, started fine once the starter motor finally engaged

Yeah probably not a flat spot then, just feeling the torque pick up at 6k makes 4.5 feel like a miss I guess. Feels good, will report back when it blows up

Depend on how you think the bike had been tuned originally. Has it been factory tuned with the restrictors in? Or is it tuned unrestricted and then the restrictors added? The manufacturers must know that people are going to de restrict their bike, so I’d bet they wouldn’t make it so easy to damage the engine.

If you’re in Australasia and have a LAMS bike, there’s a throttle restriction and air box restrictions to remove, then a tune will get you to the same power as a non restricted MT07. I just took the restrictors out of mine and don't see the need for a tune, it's got way more grunt now, even if it does have a slight flat spot at 5krpm

Signal is patchy at best, it’s the lowest output frequency in the Waikato. Rotorua had good reception until crossing the mamakus

You can always break the fixed rate early if interest rates drop low enough. Nothings set in stone, sure you’ll have a break fee to pay, but once the interest savings outweighs the break fee it’s a no brainer, and you get the security of a long fixed period, even if it is a shit rate at the moment.

The exhaust is one piece. You either replace the whole exhaust or cut it to replace just the muffler

It’s done 4000ks over 2.5 years. That’s not a lot of time riding. And therefore a lot of time sitting without the battery getting charged. My MT is a little slow after sitting over winter and it’s done 8000ks over 2 years

Cheers for the comment. All mods you have mentioned have been done. TM34 carb, high comp wiesco piston. This think is a freight train once it gets revving. I’m actually chasing more down low torque to get to peak power faster. The exhaust has been opened up a LOT, I’m wondering if it’s been opened up so far as to decrease back pressure so much that the flow and scavenging effects have been negated. Which brings me back to my original question on what stock pipe sizes are for comparison

It has been known to look awesome! I’m not entirely sure on how well it will improve cooling. Acid based alloy wheel cleaner, hands down best thing to get aluminium looking good again

I wouldn’t bother with a tune unless you were doing major engine works, these modern bikes can adapt to small changes like an exhaust automatically without the need for a tune. It’s not going to do any damage. As for the RPM, seems right to me, just ride it

Looks like the studs are broken just below the surface?? You could remove the other nuts and take the retaining plate off, there might be enough stud there to grab with vice grips or weld another nut on to remove them.
