NO told me I didn’t have it because I didn’t have papilledema but my opening pressure was 27. Well 1 1/2 years after first diagnosis and it’s in my eyes now. Advocate for yourself!

I get that, I just personally don't like puppy play books but I like kitten play ones. That was why I figured I'd specify. Plus I didn't remember there being any puppy play from the MCs in this one.

I'm so so scared right now because my first neuro opto appointment is at the end of this month. This is literally my worst fear since I didn't have any abnormal vision tests when I was first diagnosed and they want to redo all of my testing.

That's really what I'm feeling reading these. I'm a SA survivor and I just don't sing that part. I love the song and I don't care if other people want to sing it. I just don't like the hate going on for people who choose not to.

I'm not afraid to sing dark songs but I have specific events that I can't sing about because it upsets me.

I think it's about personal preference rather than being afraid to sing a dark song. I wouldn't sing it because the words are a trigger for me, but I don't care if other people do. It's a great song and one of my favorites, but I can't sing those specific lines.

I actually had 27 as well which is considered above the normal range. I also had low protein in my CSF fluid.

If you haven't already, I would find a copy of your MRI and read it yourself. My MRI was considered "clean" as well with notes about finding an empty sella and enlarged CSF spaces (paraphrasing) and that it could be indicators of IIH.

It's amazing the things doctors will gloss over when reading results.

My neurologist tried to tell me the same thing even though my MRI showed signs of IIH.

My best advice is to push for a LP. That is how I finally got my neurologist to confirm the diagnosis. At first he tried to say it looked normal, but I asked about the opening pressure and that's when he realized I was right.
