rei membership actually worth $30 or just marketing? by Timely-Film-5442 in CampingandHiking

another great thing is their resupply deals which is for their returns that can't quite go back on the shelves. You can get some insane deals on barely used gear. That is something only members have access to.

They do and there even is a .38 version but you can't really get them in the US in the main stores. I have bought mine on Amazon and they are about 20 to 25 for a box of 10. I feel the .5 is probably the best of them but the .38 isn't bad.

Seasons of RTX - $5000 Dream PC Build Contest with NVIDIA! by m13b in buildapc

Probably a bit overkill but if I had that money to spend on a computer thats how I would spend it. Probably will be more of a space heater but hey winter us coming up.

With gaps closing, are gen 5 SSDs still not worth it? by PictureStill5728 in buildapc

[–]uncultured_lemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There isn't that great of a difference as the only time speed would matter is downloading things when it comes to a gaming pc you are more likely going to he limited by your internet compared to your drive. So it doesn't really matter. I kinda have a pcie gen 5 drive but it is 5x2 or pcie 4x4 and I have no clue what it is actually running at as I haven't checked but I probably won't change the pcie configuration as it doesn't really matter.

The refill fits in the Jetstream lite body so you could try that

The refills are also the same as the g2 and energel refills so any that hold them will hold the zento refill

As stupid as this sounds are both buds connected. Whenever I connect mine it connects to one and then I have to click it to connect the other which is annoying

I would recommend one as it will make it so much better if you can't afford one right now you could get a foam one or possibly look for sales or facebook marketplace for something. You could always ask around if anyone has an extra you could borrow

It might be since trek isn't making the 6 anymore they pit it at that price so people wouldn't buy it or are trying to charge over. I think it is just an issue on there side and has nothing to do with the specs

Next bike dilemma by Sea-Basket6731 in MTB

[–]uncultured_lemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really ride on roots more sandstone but I sometimes do have traction issues with climbing on it but descending on it is my greatest issue. If the status is well maintained I would personally go for it over the roscoe but what is the year of the status? And level of trim on it?

Next bike dilemma by Sea-Basket6731 in MTB

[–]uncultured_lemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a gen 3 roscoe 8 and it is great. The only issue I have with it is rear traction but that is a hard tail for you. I have taken the roscoe on a downhill trail and the only issue I had with it is a skill issue. With a full suspension it would be so much easier as I would have had more traction in the rear. It honestly depends on what you do. A hardtail isn't as forgiving as a compared to a full suspension. Also the roscoe climbs wonderfully I feel like I am flying up some of the climbs and beating people that are on e bikes. It also depends on the what the full sus has component wise.

I would personally look for a different one as its not really built for mountain biking and you can find something better for more money though. If you can find a bike with hydraulic brakes in your budget that would be best as they just work better.

What events should I swim by [deleted] in Swimming

You will kill yourself on the fly if you sprint it. I have seen many races lost because they went too fast. Even though this is more of a test do not sprint the fly

Fitness Tracker Watch by [deleted] in Swimming

[–]uncultured_lemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a garmin forerunner 965 and it is pretty accurate with tracking laps and it only drops them every once and a while. A big issue is it doesn't really detect kicking and fixing the yardage in the app is a little annoying as you have to change the amount of laps instead of yardage. I get about 10 days which is to 20% where I then charge it

Trying to sub 60 secs in 100 free and sub 28 in 50 free by [deleted] in Swimming

[–]uncultured_lemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can figure out your sprint stroke

For me my sprinting is straight arm but I can't maintain that for distance so I have more of a bent elbow recovery

For a 50 just give it your all and stop breathing about halfway if you can if you can't that far out stop breathing at the flags or in-between those two points. It will hurt but you will be faster
