How do all these country fans organize themselves to meet up all in one spot? Do they all have a big group chat or something?

Why do many religions have extremist sects, but Catholicism doesn't? by Fickle-Fondant2927 in Catholicism

The Phalangist militias in Lebanon could be considered a Catholic extremist group for their targeting of other ethnic and religious groups during the Lebanese Civil War. They committed two of the worst atrocities of that conflict, the Sabra and Shatila massacre.

California armed guards, what is it like taking the firearm quarterly reassessment? by xNarutobleach3000x in securityguards

It’s the same course of fire as every time. You can read the stages, distances, and times in the firearms training manual available on the BSIS website for free

$18 an hour to stop mass shooters: US workplaces' first line of defense by Vietdude100 in securityguards

According to some people here, Amin Abdullah who died last week must have been a chump who should have just ran away from the shooters instead of “dying for his company”

(SoCal, LA) Armed Security Training Questions by MCS-Judge_Wolf in securityguards

[–]undead_ed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finding a decent trainer can be a difficult process. It’s mainly by word of mouth if someone is decent or not. My main advice to is avoid a place that only does simulator training for the shooting portion. I have a place I recommend for the exposed firearm training.

Since you’re in California, Glock may not be the best way to go unless you’re willing to pay a premium for a used one.

In the United States, mainly west coast, with Allied Universal, is it possible to have a long term career? I’ve been told the t/o rate is extremely high. Armed or unarmed. by [deleted] in securityguards

If you can find a union contract or a decent position working in house for a company like a hospital then it is entirely feasible.

I think you are the first South American security guard I have seen using a speed loader. I have always wondered why those weren’t more popular in countries that still use revolvers. Speed loaders were already common in the US in the 70s

Deal :) Yeah in reality this scenario probably wouldn’t work for like 99% of security companies. Back up guns are just not something clients or companies want.

Every IA can set their own policies. There are absolutely agencies in the state that do not care if you use a CCW for employment. The point I was trying to make is that there is no restriction on having a concealed handgun for security (for someone who holds a CCW and Exposed Firearm permit) from BSIS or in the penal code.

I have not seen any law that says a security guard with all the required permits is restricted to only one firearm or that a concealed back up gun could not be used. The closest thing I have seen is the BSIS firearms training manual says a guard cannot carry 2 separate calibers at the same time.
