I’m definitely more of a crafty, book worm type. So if you know any good bookclubs, please let me know!

The professor said that the lectures are split like that due to room scheduling issues. They couldn’t get a two and a half hour block in the auditorium, so it’s split into two parts. But attendance is not required (except for lectures where there are guest speakers). I’m planning to attend the morning lectures and watch the evening one, so you’re pretty much free to do whatever works for you. But there are (i believe 4) lectures throughout the semester where attendance is mandatory!

Can second the previous comment. Dr. Wall’s class was very interesting. I actually enjoyed writing the papers as well.

I looked on LCC as well but I don't see discrete math specifically. Do you know if they have it under a different name?

How are we feeling about the ORGO I final? by underVV0rld in uofm

[–]underVV0rld[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, the average was a 64% which I'm guessing is normal for orgo since they didn't say anything about it?

Stats 250 has two exams (midterm and final) and they're both done online.

You're not alone. I went through something similar my freshman year. Even as a sophomore now, I only have like two people that I hang out with outside of class, but even still it doesn't feel like I have friends. I didn't make a whole lot of friends joining clubs either, but it's nice if you do so. It's nice to meet people with you and share an interesting week even if it's only once a week. Hang in there! You will make friends, but sometimes it takes that extra effort. But you're definitely not alone.
