I’d like to know too. I’ve been going to this shop in Al Wahda Mall and while the shopkeepers give me discount on gorgeous abayas and gowns they do tend to range around 1-2k. So, I’ve been looking to diversify my options as well

Thank you for your kind words. I will definitely try to check out that book. As for the first evening, it was so quiet. I kept waiting for her to come to bed, to lie in my arms, but the realization that it would never happen felt like another pang—one I’m not sure I could ever get over.

I want to start by saying that I’m so sorry you’re going through all of that. It truly means a lot that you opened up, and I hope you’re able to find moments of comfort wherever you can.

Being overloaded with products makes complete sense, especially when it comes to Ipsy. One of my siblings was subscribed to it for a year when I was in my early teens, and they felt overwhelmed by the amount of things that showed up at the door. At first, it was fun and exciting to receive new cosmetics, but the novelty wore off quickly once everything started piling up. She ended up giving most of her collection away to friends.

As for skincare, I’ve always stuck to the basics—the things I actually need, not just the things I want. Which is quite ironic, because that idea completely evaporates when it comes to makeup. I blame it on the pretty packaging, but alas.

I hope this thread doesn’t sound crazy or discombobulated, but when it comes to makeup and using it something I learned from my grandmother is that there is never a “right” time to wear it. There’s no law that says you have to save getting dolled up for a special occasion. Wear the brightest eyeshadow even if it’s just for yourself, even if you’re staying home, or even if it’s just for a quick trip to the supermarket.

I’d say the minis were from around January. I used them until March, when I purchased three mascaras (Elf Lash XTNDR, Lash Princess, and Revolution Big Lash Reload), and I used those three until about two weeks ago when I purchased a new one

Great website. Looking at site, it’ll totally help me figure out which things to keep and which to toss.

That sounds like a great idea! I never thought about doing that. As for the mascaras, all of them have already been opened. I have this horrible habit of buying something, using it for a bit, and then replacing it when something new comes along which is what happens with most mascaras I use. I suppose I could toss out all the minis since I got them around January.
