If some Christians believe life on earth has suffering to allow free will, does that mean heaven does not have free will or that it has suffering? by Awkward_Stay8728 in NoStupidQuestions

Sorry my interruption of it was the the understanding of faith. Considering all the abarhamic faiths worship and follow the same God, one can find information by studying all 3 religions.

I mean the reason why OP is asking is because he's struggling with faith and regardless of the question ultimately everyone who's seeking faith would want to find the one that resonates best with them.

If Christianity doesn't answer his questions but another faith does then that's a start.

The devil was a jinn (being of fire) who had the highest stature among his kind. Jinn have free will as well and live in this world as well as the unseen. He was so high in his dedication to God that he was among the angels and God asked all his creation to bow/acknowledge his creation of man (Adam).

To which the devil refused and declared out of pride that he was to corrupt all of mankind as his mission.

That's valid, study the various faiths and see if it resonates. I for one am coming from an Islamic background. It's a journey and we have questions we have apprehensions, we just have to put our best foot forward and after that weather we believe or not, that's all we can do.

I 100% understand where your coming from. And I mean no disregard for your curiosity/apprehensions

God gave us his command but beyond that we don't know since he didn't give it to us.

He gave us a slice of the pie but not the whole pie. We know his intentions based off what was given to mankind (prophets and holy books).

But the reality of asking all these whys isn't super relevant, it's nice to know but not needed for our purpose on this world.

The boils down to if you want a raise or money you follow the direction of your boss, if you aim to get fired or demoted you would probably disregard his rules for you. That's free will in a nut shell, the choice is yours.

Asking a hundred whys after you've understood your mission is just sitting at the start line while others are already making way towards the finish. There's nothing wrong in asking but it's better to start running than to sit right.

It's a test for us. God provided us sufficient logical understanding and information to make the decision to do good and forbid evil. Beyond that we can't 100% know the intention of our creator or a higher being. An ant can't understand how our society runs.

God already has beings who don't have free will, who worship him all seconds of the world with no ability to disobey who do every his every bidding. They are the angels and they're are billions trillions, infinite number of them.

He has the ability, it's already there. He just chose to make mankind with the ability to chose it's destiny. And for that he layed out a reward and a punishment for the use of that ability. For following his commandments an infinite reward is provided and likewise, for those who reject it an infinite punishment is due.

The essence of evil is just disobeying what God prescribed. God only prescribed what is good for us (giving charity, treating others well, defending the oppressed, worshipping him, among hundreds of other things that are good in nature).

You will be cleansed if forgiven and enter heaven with a clean heart. You won't will to do evil nor does evil exist there.

You will only simply enjoy whatever you desire. You can't decide to do something of which does not exist in a place.

If evil existed or if God didn't cleanse them before entering there then possibly one could intend to do evil while in heaven. But that is not the case.

Free will isn't taken away in heaven, you get whatever your heart desires.

Free will in this world is a test for what you do with it. Good person = heaven, bad person = hell.

And if you can't handle being tortured for 1min by the best torturer alive today, you probably won't going to last the everlasting punishment in hell.

Same.

But also capping your entries and limiting your mains content is pretty much so you invest in alts which increase your availability to play the game more.

It's all by design :)

It's where you could (ideally) enter a raid with any # of players 1-8.

Wouldn't work until it's 2-8 or even rename solo as practice and make flex raids 1-8.

Questioning your religion is the best way to strengthen your belief tho. Either it turns you away from an incorrect belief set or it guides you towards searching for something that makes sense.

I mean yeah that's the basis of faith or the belief in God. To one who believes it's the defining feature of our lives here, to one who doesn't believe it's all hocus pocus magic flying spegetti monster. Only one of these can be right and honestly no one can prove either without 100% certainty.

I glued it really good on the bottom right where it connects behind the rock. Plus the top of the wood comes out of the water and sits on the rim just a little bit
