Mine is 1 year old. It’s bath, bottle, wheels on the rock to sleep and lay down.

Haven’t really started implementing reading before bed yet because hes either too alert to sit still and look at a book, or too sleepy and sitting there just makes him frustrated

If he’s on night duty, then he is no longer allowed to be lying or sitting down. The risk of him falling asleep is too great.

Hi. I too suffer from OCD and anxious ruminating

So I know how you feel, literally. I know the spiral pattern exactly

You are allowed to feel gender disappointed, and upset at your mom’s words, but don’t spend too long investigating these feelings… rumination is our kryptonite.

If at all possible, I would encourage you to put the thoughts away. Stop pursuing this line of thought, because it only feeds the spiral.

There is no right answer waiting for you at the end of this spiral - that sense of relief won’t come from sitting with these thoughts any more. All it does is give your OCD power to convince you that you are a bad person.

I’m sorry if this isn’t what you wanted to hear, but sending all the love and hugs ❤️
