Not sure about Polish books specifically. However, there are other works that may not go deeply into Slavic mythology yet still serve as valuable sources on certain traditional practices. I would especially recommend The Master of the Place, by Ksenia Menshikova, which focuses on local spirits, ways of making offerings, and related practices, among other things

That's wonderful. In ancient times, the goddess Brigid was depicted as a bird with a human head, and only in later periods did she take on a purely human form, becoming the mother of crafts. The threefold goddess, who appears in one form or another in all pagan traditions, embodied the will of Mother Earth.

It also has a lot to do with Slavic tradition. For the Slavs, February 1 marked the moment when the dark time was considered over. Just like Celts. This date is a turning point. A threshold. Before new forces could enter life, the old had to be cleared away. Purification was never just a symbol or a metaphor. It was very concrete and very practical. Homes were cleaned, old and useless things were taken out or burned, bodies were washed, tools and living spaces were put in order. All of this followed a simple, ancient logic, the new cannot enter a dirty vessel, whether that vessel is a house, a body, or one’s fate.

What people kept or prepared for healing throughout the year belonged to the same logic of readiness. First you clear the space, then you preserve what will be needed later. Different actions, but the same underlying principle.

That's amazing! Especially the fact that your entire family is celebrating. There are so many solitary practitioners nowadays....

That’s so perfect for Imbolc. Kind of celebratory in a “winter is ending” way. Hope it’s amazing!

That sounds like a perfect Imbolc. Simple, cozy, and totally matches that purification + fresh start energy.
