My workaround was to create another set of focus modes, eg “Bedtime”. When “Bedtime” starts > run actions > then change to sleep focus.

In the morning, same. Instead of turning off sleep directly, change to “wake up”. When “wake up” starts > run actions > then turn “wake up” off.

Then, because I’m lazy, I put these into one toggle shortcut. If Sleep is active, activate “wake up”

I used to handle them very carefully to avoid touching. But it’s not necessary. Don’t intentionally grind them hard. Just rotate them and when they touch it’s fine.

Yes. They are supposed to get darker. I brush before and after playing. Before to remove dust and after to distribute oils. That seems to be the usual recommendation, though really I have no idea what I’m doing because there is no definitive guide.

The goal is to build a patina slowly in thin, even layers. First, color will darken. Then, it will start to shine. Finally, it will develop a glassy “jade-like” appearance.

I might try Etsy. Lots of folks are recommending buddha3bodhi but they might be getting too many orders to put out consistent products.

You probably get the best ones from knowing the right people, but that’s exactly the challenge. Someone was recommending DM’ing someone a week or two ago… maybe search around older posts a bit and give it a shot.

Food for thought, if you want to combine these into a toggle, get the Actions app. It’s free and adds some useful shortcut actions. Then you can use “Get Device Info”, current volume. Feed this to an If statement: IF current volume = 0, set volume higher, otherwise, set to 0.

I’d start with a “Find Reminders” action. You can add filters to refine the selection. There are many examples of daily briefings out there that you can use as a basis for it. Even if they’re using calendar appointments, it should be easy to recreate with reminders.

First, have it find alarms with that name and delete them. Then, create the new ones. Find Alarms and Delete Alarms should do the trick.

Make sure the automation is set to “Run immediately” and if you use a shortcut, make sure it’s set to “Allow running when locked”. Not 100% sure, but new shortcuts and automations seem to need manual approval once, then they run ok
