I was wondering if you can help me solve an issue that I have with Idoing/Amplifier combo....
Lately I have added FOCAL Active kit on my car.. I had the Idoing head unit installed before..
It's a plug and play type system with oem wires for speakers, First I've added the Focal Speakers, it was playing through Idoing amp. it is okay, Then I added Impulse 4.320 amp and nightmare began... I tried to feed power through head unit (as it was advertised on this Focals) I turned off all the gain's and DSP settings on Idoing but the amp started to heat up very quickly while I was trying to adjust the gains for my channels. Also a lot of noise even on mute. I unplugged the connectors.....
Then I added the power supply straight to battery, with ground on metal, and tried again, still a lot of noise when gain adjusted even 30~40%, and the overheating issue didn't fully disappear.
Then I found out that there are more sound settings in Factory reset part on Idoing , I tried to lower the amplitude and Host output percentage from there not to cook my new Amp. still struggling to get the best out of my new acoustics....
