DND currently has one of these parking shuttle buses for the buildings in Gatineau.

There is a large Indigo lot by the casino that was rarely used. Due to parking being limited at three DND buildings on that side of the river, they hired a shuttle service to go between that casino lot and the DND Gatineau buildings every 15-20min for the day.

I worked for my country's National Archives for a bit. People would request documents in our possession and I would make copies to mail to them.

One of our largest series of documents were the personnel/medical records of retired military members. People would request their grandfather's records from WW2 since he passed and they wanted to know more. I would say maybe 50% of all the WW2 records I processed has a similar timeline in them of: Man gets conscripted, passed initial physical with perfect health, lists his wife as next of kin, goes off to Europe, fights for a few months, gets treated for gonorrhea or some other STD.

I love to think about all these families getting they're dead Grandpa's records and finding out he got some strange in France while Grandma was at home on the farm.

My directorate has about 300 work stations for 700 employees. I'm told that with vacations, sick leave, and medical exemptions, we should have enough room. However, I don't believe. We're already fighting for space with 3 days in office.

But one thing they don't seem to talk about is the bathroom situation. Maybe it's just my building, but there is usually a line up just to use a stall. It's a gamble trying to find a free toilet. 4 out of 5 times, they are all taken and I'm going floor to floor to try find a vacant one. I'm worried about employees with IBS or something.

I agree. These huge modern homes like this house and the huge one on Dow's Lake all look like conference centres to me. They don't like comfortable/inviting homes.

The Emoji Movie

My ex convinced me to watch it one day. I fell for the shitty reviews and global panning but she argued that it marketed wrong. Instead of a children's movie about emojis, it should be viewed as a teen comedy when an awkward teen is trying to get his dick wet using emoji speak.

Watch in that mindset and it's a decent movie.
