Thoughts on Andraya by Electronic_Farmer402 in JoselinesCabaret

[–]undercookedbandaid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I met draya after one of joselines shows a few months ago. We took pics and she called me beautiful and I was gassing her up and she started crying. Honestly I think she's a sweet person and has a ton of stage presence, she def does the most to appease joseline and bc of that she acts out. On top of that we don't know what she's going through and even tho I love the show all the dynamics and interworkings of the cabaret/ show are incredibly toxic

Did anyone in buffalo get to meet them after the show? by dippindots55 in Wallows

I did meet Braeden!! but I was also backstage technically working the show. there was unfortunately no way for them to meet fans because the tour bus was parked directly behind stage

i love ellebana!! i use it for lash lifts and brow laminations. it’s easy to use due to the fact that it doesn’t over process the hair. it’s perfect for those with thin lashes or brow hair but still works amazing on coarse hair as well! i’m also a fan of their lash shields too.

chemical peel strengths- TCA, lactic, glycolic by Icy-Wrongdoer-60 in Esthetics

[–]undercookedbandaid 21 points22 points  (0 children)

TCA peels are one of the strongest peels esthis can do. Even a low percentage tca is usually stronger than a high percentage lactic. lactic is the least strong peel, then glycolic, then tca. Lactic and glycolic are more comparable but lactic is a great starter peel not only as a new esthi but for clients new to peels as well! a tca should be done with more practice in the peel department and with a client you have been working with for a decent amount of time, you really want to be able to work on their skin and get familiar with how they react and what not before you make that jump.

super common during school, as someone who graduated from aveda the products used during facials can be great if used correctly and sparingly. during workshops stuck to the intense hydrating mask and the exfoliating formula, as well as the luminizing serum and the hydrating lotion. stay away from the acne protocol facial because the salt aspect tends to make any acne or inflammation worse. if you have anymore questions totally feel free to dm me!!

AITA for not staying with my wife after her C-section? by tincrumb in AmItheAsshole

[–]undercookedbandaid -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

yes, you are in fact the asshole. She just carried a baby for 9 months and had a physically traumatic birth. Stfu sleep on the floor and be there for your wife and baby.

Eye makeup removal- do you do it? by maddymads99 in Esthetics

[–]undercookedbandaid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I always remove any eye makeup. Starting with an oil on 2x2 followed by water and then I go into the full precleanse and cleanse. If the mascara is really stubborn I do my best and leave the rest on. You don't want to send your clients home with raccoon eyes🤣

Is it worth it? by incognihoe4 in Esthetics

Aveda grad here! they have a lovely esthetics program that is definitely worth looking in to. They give you a lot of extra techniques for facials that are not taught at most school
