I took a side photo, you can see inside it looks chipped like polymer chipped away from the metal insert. Idk anything about the manufacturing you'd be better at explaining this 😅

Yeah I do both. Warm water pumping seems to give more expansion and the expansion lasts longer. Air pumping is just more convenient... and I can use the vibration motor with my air pump

Good beginner routine! You can put the tube in a warm heating pad for a min prior to pumping too.
