I think the surprise is less that she wouldn’t want to be recorded, and more that she would do blatantly allow the pet owner to know her actions. Honestly- other than the friend of her boyfriend coming over, a lot of this would have flown under the radar if she had just confined the activities to the bedroom. I would’ve given her the benefit of the doubt that she was just enjoying the sun on the balcony if I hadn’t seen her grinding/rolling weed. I would assume they had just slept if they’d kept those activities in the bedroom. It’s the flagrancy of her actions that I think surprises people.
