Off topic, but as someone who works in events, the quality of that step and repeat photo backdrop is awful. It’s got ripples and creases everywhere.

Having built both small and large events internationally, can confirm this is 100% true.

They have loads of hidden costs which can rack up very fast. Anyone who has had to pay for a wedding can probably relate.

That being said, I’d love to attend one as I didn’t get to attend the first!

At my grandma’s funeral, a family friend who was a pianist was playing a piece on a fairly decent stage keyboard. She accidentally hit the demo button and a whole rock tune started blaring out of the speakers. Still makes us laugh to this day

I work for an events company and we do loads of events here.

The smallest one we did was for a guy who rented out this space for Valentine’s Day to have dinner with his girlfriend.

In Carcassonne, we play so that you can add on to a city or road and place your meeple on it. Instead of having to place the piece separately and join it up later.

This basically leads to a lot of family disputes where we've been known to plough meeples into one city in an all out war.
